Hello everyone. Pumpkin here, Zoo Crew's resident Guinea Pig. I am 8 months old and am female. I like snuggling in my blankie, being cuddled and doing normal Guinea Pig things. Such as popping, squeaking, and eating. Some of my favorite foods are my hay, baby peeled carrots, lettuce, apples, a grape, apples, oranges broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens. Yeah -- I like pretty much all of it. I am a long haired guinea pig. Mum says shes always seen pics of them but never had one. When she got me she didn't know I was going to be a long haired guinea. You have to brush us a lot or our hair mattes up on us. Quincy tells me I might just be part Siberian as I HATE being brushed. I always try to run away or I scream. Then I will roll over and try to eat the brush. Haha. I will leave you all with a cute picture of me snuggled up in my favorite blankie. Hope you all have a guinea-tasic day. Do you ever get in a ball and run around the house to get Quincy wound up?

Actually Steve, Guinea Pigs don't like those ball thingys. They aren't good for us we usually just sit in them and poop or pee. Guineas can get their toes caught in the slots. Causing us to break our little leggies. But the gerbils, rats and the hamster all have those ball thingys. The ferrets and I get to run around on the floor freely with mum, dad and the kidz. But Quincy is so used to them by now that they don't phase him. He does however in true husky fasion occasionaly push them around with his nose. ;-)

Hi Pumpkin, we think we like you since you also don't like the brush. We try to hide when we see it coming out. We heard Mom saying she saw some plucking opportunities on TD today - that sounds bad.

Oh No Phantom. I've heard that phrase too. Plucking means they are going to pluck your hair out!! RUN like NOW!!!
