Our 1st Interview

We have finally had the privilege of being interviewed by someone. We had requested that our dear friend Holly interview us and she did!!! Here are our questions and answers. I (Quincy) will go first:

Quincy:
1. What so you like most about Tristin?

Hmm, this is a very hard question but a very good one. If I had to narrow it down to only one thing it would have to be his playful nature. Tristin and I have always gotten along great. I remember the first day we met before mom and dad adopted him. We hit it off right away and were playing like he had known each other our entire lives. I remember mom, and Bev Tristins former foster mom jokingly saying "Jeez, you'd swear they were from the same litter". We were just meant to be brothers. So Yeah, most definitely his playful nature, we can play for hours on end.

2. Would you prefer to be an only dog, or have more fur siblings?

Oh no, I wouldn't want to be an only dog. I would love more than anything to have more fur siblings. But they would all need to know that I am in charge. I rule this roost!!

3. What is your favorite toy?

Owe another good one. I LOVE LOVE LOVE toys, especially ones Tristin has. But still my all time favorite toy is my kitty that my former foster mom and dad gave me. He is very well taken care of, my mommy makes sure hes nice and clean for me. The only thing is now he's missing his eyes... He looked at me funny one night so I took his eyes out.. LONG STORY. ;-)

4. Where is your favorite place to sleep?

I have a few favorite places to sleep actually. One would be with my mommy when she stays down here with us. But I also like to sleep at the bottom of the steps, its hard floor and its always cool. But my crate is my favorite place b/c I know that's my space. When I go in there mommy wont let her kids bother me and I can have my down time.

5. Do you know any tricks?

Yes, I do. I will shake and give "hi-fives". Mommy loves it when I do that. She always makes me do it when we do events with rescue. People seem to really get a kick outta it. I don't mind because I usually get yummies afterwards for being a good boy.

OK those were GREAT questions Holly. Thanks so much for interviewing me. I will let Tristin answer his questions now...

Hello every doggie boy and girl, Tristin here. I will now answer my interview questions.

Tristin:

1. What do you like most about Quindy?

I do have to say that the thing I like most about my brother would be his caring nature. Not too many people know this but when I was adopted I had a lot of "issues" I was afraid of everything and absolutely hated being alone. An Quincy was always there by my side to help me along with my mom and dad, overcome my issues.

2. Where would you like to visit, if you could go anywhere in the world?

I would love to go with my entire family to somewhere where it snowed all the time. I just love the snow. Mommy calls me her snow bunny.

3. Who is your hero?

My mommy is my hero. I love her more than anything in this world. She saw something in me that no one else did. I was a foster dog for quite some time and not one person was interested in adopting me. Lucky for me my mommy saw what others couldn't. So she convinced my dad that she just absolutely HAD TO have me. So when he came around they adopted me on Nov 25th, 2006 and I have been in absolute heaven ever since. Not to mention the fact that she was very patient with all my issues.

4. What is your favorite treat?

Oh this is a good one. I love food all kinds, but my absolute favorite treat would have to be bologna. We have our pop-pop trained he gives us both bologna each and every morning. An if he don't you'd better believe he hears about it.

5. Do you like it when people visit?

It depends on who it is. But usually I don't mind when people come over to visit. I like the attention, when my greedy hog brother allows me to get it.

Thanks Holly that was fun. I enjoyed answering your questions, good job on coming up with such good ones. Now comes the fun part Quincy and I have the opportunity to interview some of you.

If you want me to interview you, here's what you need to do:

Great answers! How did you learn how to shake and high five? My mom has been working with that forever and I can't seem to get it. Or maybe I just don't care...

Thanks Steve. I will let my mommy tell you how she taught me shake and high five.

Hi Steve, Dana here Quincy and Tristins mom. I taught him how to shake and high-five by making him sit. An then holding the treat in front of him. Up above his nose and he just did it for me. If he tried to get up I would tell him no sit and then he would get so impatient he would paw me to death. An thats how it all started. Kept working on it and now he does it all the time even without food. He will even do both paws. Good luck and keep working with him. I am sure Steve will get it eventually.. Unless he is another Tristin.

Hey Steve Quincy here again. Maybe you just don't care. Tristin is the same way. He won't do it either for anything, hes stubborn... or at least that's what mom always says.

Wow, great interview! That Hollybollyboo really asked some good questions.
It's great that you two have each other! My sisters really helped me through a hard time when I got here - then Dave adopted us 5 months later and taught me how to play. I'd be lost without them!
Play bows,
Zim
PS: The girls give 5 and I give 4. I don't have dew claws. Dave doesn't do either. Just 'cause. Wow ... he's REALLY a lot like Steve!
